Estimatery aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on its public pages and in the estimate builder. This page says where that stands and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
What is in place
- Every marketing, guide, template and legal page has one main landmark and a skip link as the first stop in the tab order.
- Controls work from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring in the desktop builder and on the public pages.
- Text on the marketing, guide, template and legal pages meets the 4.5:1 contrast ratio.
- Dialogs trap focus while open, return it when they close, and close with Escape (except the first-visit industry picker, noted below).
- Reordering lines in the builder works from the keyboard as well as by drag.
- Every estimate has an HTML client view as an alternative to the PDF.
Known gaps
- Some builder fields are labeled by their placeholder only.
- PDF exports are not tagged for screen readers.
- Some explanatory tooltips in the builder open on hover only.
- Some status changes (saved, copied) are not announced.
- The builder does not have a main landmark yet.
- Some fields in the mobile builder do not show a focus ring.
- The first-visit industry picker in the builder does not close with Escape; choosing any option closes it.
These are on the list and this page is updated as they close.
