Free quote builder · event planning

Event planning quotes your client reads, not forms they fill out.

Load the template for the event, price your services and every vendor line, and watch the margin as you type. The client gets a clean quote document. You get to stop rebuilding it in a proposal tool that charges monthly.

The alternative

You could keep fighting the spreadsheet.

Spreadsheets are free, and they price accordingly. Delete one row and the formulas give up. The version history lives in the filename. After all that, it still prints like a bank statement. Estimatery already knows the shape of an estimate. You fill in the numbers.

How it works

01Build from a template

Pick a template: wedding, corporate, party. Every line the event needs is already there, venue sourcing through strike. Day-of coordination is a line, not a mystery tier.

3 event planning templates · rates stay yours
02See your profit

Add what each line costs you, your hours, the vendors you're coordinating, the staff, and it shows what you'll actually make, updated as you type. Only you see this part. The client sees a plan, not your vendor invoices.

Profit updates as you type
03Send the client version

One switch shows exactly what the client gets: services, prices, one total. Send it as a PDF, Excel file, or link, before the venue's hold expires.

Built for the person who actually watches the budget

Generic quoting tools fit no one in particular. Estimatery starts from how planning is actually priced: flat tiers, hourly prep, vendor lines with your cost underneath. Real numbers for you, a clean quote for the client.

Your profit
Know what you'll make before you send it.

Tell it what each part costs you and it shows what you'd actually take home, updated as you type. No second spreadsheet. No midnight math.

Exports under your name
Send something that looks designed.

The client PDF gets a real letterhead and totals that line up. The Pro version adds your name and logo. Your logo. On documents. Living the dream.

Never price the same event twice

Each template is the line-item checklist for that kind of event, first call through strike. Prices stay blank because they're yours, and every market prices a Saturday differently. Load one, delete what doesn't apply, price the rest.

01 · Event planning

Three templates covering how planning actually gets quoted. The planning fee is the document fee. It has a name now. Catering has its own templates.

Everyone else makes you give something up.

A spreadsheet is free, but you do everything. An invoicing app hides your costs, then bills you monthly forever, like a gym. We’re the only column without a catch. We checked twice.

Questions

The full guide (units, tax math, deposits, exports) lives on the Help page. It’s genuinely thorough. We’re as surprised as you.

Do I need an account?

No. The whole builder and every export work without one. Your quote autosaves in this browser, which means it lives on your machine, which means it's already more organized than the venue's AV closet. A free account adds one cloud-saved estimate; Pro makes that unlimited.

Is the free plan really the whole tool?

Yes. Unlimited sections and lines, all templates, all modifiers, the live P&L, and every export format. Pro only changes whose name is on the paperwork and lifts the cloud-save cap. Free, with no proposal-software tier ladder waiting behind it.

How do I quote a percentage-of-budget fee?

Two clean ways. Use the document-level Planning fee as a percentage on the subtotal when your fee rides on the lines the quote itself carries, or price the fee as its own flat line named for the deal ("Planning fee — 15% of event budget") when the percentage applies to a budget bigger than this document. Either way the client sees one labeled number, and your margin math stays underneath where it belongs.

Can my client see my costs or margins?

No. Client views, exports, and share links are built from a copy that only ever contained client-facing fields. Costs, margins, and internal notes are never in the file. There's no toggle to forget because there is no toggle. What you pay the florist stays between you and the florist.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. You pay $39 once. No renewal, no monthly fee, no per-event percentage. It puts your branding on client-facing exports, removes our footer, makes cloud saves unlimited, and adds a reusable catalog of your saved line items.

Where is my data stored?

Anonymous quotes live in your browser's local storage. Nothing leaves your machine unless you share, export, or save to an account. Share links carry a compressed, client-safe copy inside the link itself. Math, not magic.
