How do I quote a percentage-of-budget fee?
Turn on the Planning fee line and set your percentage. The client sees it as one line below the vendor subtotal, and your view shows what it leaves after your hours.
Can I list vendor costs the client pays through me?
Yes. A vendor line carries the vendor’s price as the rate and what you pay as the cost, so pass-throughs show zero margin and your fee shows the real one.
Can my client see my costs or margins?
No. Client exports and share links are built from a copy that only contains prices, totals and terms. Costs, margins and internal notes are not in it.
Do I need an account?
No. The builder and every estimate export work without one, and your estimate autosaves in your browser, including on your phone. A free account adds one cloud-saved estimate. Pro makes it unlimited.
